Janice Boggs
February 12, 1941 — September 3, 2011
Mrs. Janice E. Boggs, 70, of Thurmont, MD., passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born February 12, 1941 in Wythe County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary V. Richardson Schwartz.
For many years Janice was a daycare provider and will be missed by the many children she has taken care of throughout the years. She loved animals and especially her beloved pet “Raven”. In earlier years Mrs. Boggs had worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by her children Jeff Boggs of Rocky Ridge, Wally Boggs, Terri Boggs both of Thurmont and Tina Cole and husband Will of Frederick, four grandchildren Wade Boggs, Austin Boggs, Rachel Boggs and Mason Boggs.
A memorial service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Thursday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be private.
