Janice E. Kosko

Janice E. (Luttfring) Kosko was born in Ottawa, Ohio on Nov. 8, 1948.

She married John J. Kosko on July 26, 1969. He predeceased her on January 15, 2023.

During her 50-year career with the federal government, Mrs. Kosko worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Coast Guard, the General Accounting Office, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Mrs. Koskos leaves behind her daughter Katrina Durski; son-in-law Anthony, and beloved grandchildren Joseph and Anna. She was the oldest of seven siblings, Michael, Robert, David (deceased), Julie (Pothast), Richard, and Alan.

Mrs. Kosko loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren, watching grandson Joe play soccer, reading, and walking.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michaels Road, Mt. Airy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Sparklin as Officiant.

Interment will be private
