Jeannine Wheeler

Jeannine Wheeler, 91, of Brunswick Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Tranquility of Fredericktowne in Frederick, MD. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Griffith until his passing where later in life she married Gene Wheeler.

Born on April 23, 1934, in Brunswick MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Eva (Bohrer) Hinckle.

Jeannine worked for over 30 years at Safeway in Frederick. Jeannine was a devout church member where she sang in the choir at St. Francis and St. Mary's catholic church. Her main joy in life was spending time with her family.

She is survived by four children, Karen Seymour of Winchester VA, Michael Griffith and wife Debra of Middletown MD, Keith Griffith of Brunswick MD and Dean Griffith and late wife Connie of Harpers Ferry WVA.

Also survived by seven grandchildren, Chantz and Kylee Griffith, Jordan Smith, Carlin Abdulghany, Amanda Dan, Jessica Reed and Abigail Seymour.

Also eleven great grandchildren, Cannon and Dake Griffith, Ellie and Annie Griffith, Arlo and Kai Abdulghany, Ruby and Miller Smith, William Reed, Avery and Micah Dan.

The family will recieve friends from 1-2pm on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Stauffer Funeral Home P.A. 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick MD, where a celebration of Jeannine's life journey will take place at 2 pm. Msgr Richard J. Murphy will officiate. Internment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery-Petersville in Knoxville, MD.
