Jennifer Kay Carroll

Jennifer K. (Fry) Carroll of Boonsboro, Maryland passed away on February 2, 2024 at Doey’s House (Hospice) in Hagerstown, Maryland after a six-year battle with cancer.

Jenny was born on July 18, 1962 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.  She was raised in Sabillasville Maryland, graduating from Catoctin High School in 1980. She married Matthew Carroll in 1986. Matt and Jenny welcomed twins, Rebecca and Jeremiah, in September of 1991. 

Jenny began working for Best Plumbing Specialties, Inc. located then in Frederick, Maryland and later in Myersville, Maryland in 1986. She worked at different times managing the purchasing department and vendor relationships.  She worked for Best a total of 33 years. 

Jenny loved spending time with her grandson, gardening, collecting antiques, spending time at the beach in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, and uncovering a great deal at a Saturday morning yard sale. 

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Matthew T. Carroll, parents, Joan Bittner Fry and Ray W. Fry and Judy Fry; brother, Dan W. Fry, sister, Emily R. Fry, children, Jeremiah V. Idledale, Colorado, daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca R. and Brad Sheldon of Waynsboro, Pennsylvania; and 16-month old grandson, Samuel Thomas Sheldon.

Memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 10^th starting at 9am with Memorial Services at 10am and reception at 11am at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
