Jessica Hemp

Jessica L. Hemp, 29 of Jefferson, Maryland passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her home after a courageous battle against cancer.

Born September 8, 1986 in Frederick, Maryland she was the daughter of Doug and Sheree Hemp of Jefferson.

Jessica was a 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School and received her BA from Mount St. Mary’s University. During college she worked at the Jefferson Market. She was currently employed with Sandy Spring Bank as a personal banker at their downtown Frederick location. Jessica was much respected as a valuable member of the Frederick Community.

She was an avid lover of animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and spending time with her friends. Her friends will remember her warm smile and her kind heart.

In addition to her loving parents she is survived by her sister, Laura Hemp. She will also be remembered by her maternal and paternal grandmothers, her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Honoring Jessica’s wishes, the family will have a private service at this time and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
