Jodi Lyn Caincross

Jodi Lyn Caincross, 60, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away following a brief illness surrounded by loved ones.

A free-spirited and creative soul, Jodi was known for her humor, warmth, twinkle in her eye and big smile. She attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, MD and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Jodi held professional roles at Standard Federal Savings Bank and Wells Fargo. For years, Jodi was a supporter of many events in downtown Frederick. She was always a friendly face and volunteered weekly at Alive at Five.

Jodi is survived by her mother, Patricia “Pat” Caincross, and her brother, R. Michael Caincross. Jodi was a loving friend to many and a devoted daughter and sister.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert M. Caincross.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Downtown Frederick location of Black Hog BBQ. Close friends and family are invited to attend and share memories. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maryland Chapter.
