Mr. John Earle Chester, 77 of Germantown, MD., died Friday, July 2, 2010 at Northampton Manor.
Mr. Chester served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the VFW Post #5627, American Legion Post #136 and numerous shooting clubs. For many years he was a judge at the polls during election time in Germantown. John retired after many years with the Southern Railroad.
He is survived by a daughter Susan Hull and husband Ron of Walkersville, four grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Nicholas and Jessica Hull and a great granddaughter Ryleigh Hull.
Services and interment will be private
