Thurmont

Ryan Coblentz, a beloved son, father, brother and friend passed away suddenly on November 25, 2023. Ryan was born on December 27, 1989, and brought light and joy to the lives of all who knew him. His carefree nature and contagious smile would light up any room he entered.

Ryan had a deep passion for farming and spent many fulfilling years working in the field. He dedicated his time to nurturing the land and watching it flourish. In addition to farming, Ryan pursued a career as a professional truck driver. His love for the open road allowed him to embrace new adventures while providing for his family.

Beyond his work life, Ryan was a devoted family man. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and adored his two beautiful children, Lilly and Wyatt. Their presence brought joy and fulfillment to his life. Ryan's favorite saying was "Peace Out Girl Scout," which he often shared to bring smiles and laughter to those around him.

In his free time, Ryan found solace in various hobbies and interests. He loved the thrill of off-roading with four-wheelers, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. As an avid hunter, he found peace in nature while showcasing his skill and patience. Fishing was another passion of Ryan's, often allowing him moments of tranquility as he cast his line into calm waters.

Ryan's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his children. Lilly and Wyatt were the center of his world, and their happiness meant everything to him. He poured his heart into being the best father possible, creating unforgettable memories together.

The memories created with Ryan will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him throughout their lives. His caring nature extended not only to family but also to friends who became part of his extended family.

A visitation will take place on December 4th at Stauffer Funeral Home in Thurmont from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where loved ones can gather to pay their respects and support one another. On December 5th, a Celebration of Life service will be held at the same location starting at 11:00 AM.
