John Corey Garrett

John Corey Garrett, 31, of Adamstown, Maryland died on December 22, 2022.  He is survived by his wife Bri, his daughter Iris, and his parents Buddy Garret and Merri Jo Wright, along with a number of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. 
John was a son of Adamstown.  He attended Carroll Manor Elementary and graduated from Tuscarora High in 2010 where he spent many happy days in the marching band. John became a licensed aircraft mechanic through the Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics. He was an elevator mechanic with Local 10 of the International Union of Elevator Constructors.
John was full of life.  He loved fast cars, especially LS_Juan, his 1996 Nissan 240 SX which he “raced” throughout the state. He was always a good time and will be missed by countless friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.  No service is planned at this time.
