Mr. John Frederick Haynes, 73, of Thurmont, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was the husband of Linda A. Verham Haynes, his wife of 47 years.
Born on June 20, 1943 in Michigan, he was the son of the late Harry and Lillian Schaller Haynes. John was a graduate of Damascus High School.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Barbara Angelino and Laura Carter; son-in-law Craig Carter; three grandchildren: Michael Hoffman, Emily Angelino and Noah Carter; two sisters: Rita Tiller and Kathleen Dillehay. Mr.Haynes was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Stadum and two brothers: Thomas Haynes and Richard Haynes.
A remembrance and celebration of John's life will be held from 12-6 PM on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th at his residence, 13213 Brice Road, Thurmont, MD
