John Alexander Hope, 50, passed away on April 14 at his home in Harpers Ferry, WV. He was born on in Frederick, MD on November 19, 1965. He was the beloved Son of Marvin & Betty Hope of Clearville, PA and Sisters, Mary Hope, Rebecca Hope Younkers & Brother-in-Law, Jim.
He was predeceased by Grandparents, John & Lillie Hope and Sally Scott. He is survived by his Nephews, Michael Hope, Braxton Taulton and Nieces, Kaylyn Taulton, Jenna Hatch and Sarah Younkers.
John was a Plumber by trade but his true love was Hunting, Fishing & the Outdoors . He was a skilled marksman who traveled to the West on many hunting trips. Among his trophies were Moose, Elk, Bears, Antelope and Deer. He was a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association.
John had many friends & was liked by all who knew him. He will be missed by many.

Family & Friends will gather at Stauffer Funeral Home in Brunswick, Thursday, April 21 from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 22 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Reverend Charles Andrews officiating. Graveside Services will be at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
