John Spahr
November 30, 1968 — December 4, 2011
John F. Spahr (43) died suddenly on Sunday, December 4, 2011, as a result of a fall at his home in York,
PA. He is the son of Frederick T. and Patricia M. Spahr of Frederick, MD.
John is survived by: three sons Zane, Nathan and Joshua Spahr of Millheim, PA; his sister, Kathryn (Katie) Cummings and husband Spencer; and his brother, Joseph Spahr and wife Christine Tarbet. Also surviving are nieces Melanie Patterson and Caroline Cummings ; and nephew Austin Gray. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan McGraw, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. John was a graduate of Thomas Wootton High School in Rockville, MD and The Pennsylvania State University .
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy Roman Catholic church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jim Reusing as celebrant. Friends may view from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church Cemetery in Gaithersburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
