Born on March 23, 1955, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late John Radcliff Taylor and Leona (Mish) Taylor.
John worked in various positions for Marva Temp Agency in the Frederick office for 28 years, and was currently employed there on a part time basis.
He enjoyed mowing lawn, doing odd jobs around the house, drinking coffee, and spending time with his family. John will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James Melia (Sandra), two granddaughters, Taylor and Sadie; one sister, Marian Boatright (Ron), and two nephews, James and Chris Boatright.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD, with a funeral service to begin at 11 a.m. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Foundation.
