John Yokay

John Joseph Yokay passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 12, 2022.

John was a larger than life personality and always enjoyed spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife of 50 years Margo, four children and eight grandchildren; son, Michael and his wife, Tracy, and their children, Kate and Anna; son, Steven and his wife, Carey, and their children Hunter and John; daughter, Jaime and her husband, Andrew, and their children, Cru and Van; daughter, Erin and her husband, Christopher, and their children, Calvin and Rory.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, Maryland 21771 on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the funeral home at 6:00 pm. Rev. Tim May will officiate.

Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, 711 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771 on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 12:30 p.m.
