John “Big Guy” Gerace
John Gerace, 70 of Mt. Airy, MD passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with leukemia. John was born June 9, 1947 to the late Michael Gerace and survived by his mother Edna Gerace.
He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Gerace. Father to Johnny (Theresa) Gerace of Mt. Airy, Tami (Tom) Krcma of New Windsor. Grandfather to Zachary and Nicholas Gerace. Danielle Montoya, Emily Krcma, Great Grandfather to Adrian Montoya.
Johns interests included camping, fishing and boating.
John served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
