Jonathan D. Young, Jr.

Jonathan David Young Jr., 64, of Brunswick, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Born May 25, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the first child of Dorothy Young and the late Jonathan Young, Sr. On March 26, 1983 he married Terri Young. They celebrated 43 years of marriage and have two children, Jonathan Young, III and Jessica Young. From them are six grandchildren.

Jon proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years before becoming a defense contractor. Jon could be found shooting pool, camping, fishing, enjoying Baltimore Ravens and Orioles games, riding his trike, gardening, and playing with his dogs, Jasper and Jinx. Jon was known as the life of the party, and could often be found spending time with close friends.

Along with his wife, Terri, Jon is survived by his mother, Dorothy; siblings, James Young and Joanna Adams-Hahn; his children, Jonathan and Jessica; grandchildren; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 14th at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick. His final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
