Joseph Paul Bell Jr., 70, of Sabillasville, Maryland, passed peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Born on December 24, 1955, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Paul and Beverly Baine (Bowers) Bell.
Joseph loved excavating work, fishing and crabbing.
He is survived by his sister, Bonita Shankle and his brother, Timothy Bell (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Walk), 40 Fulton Avenue in Walkersville, MD.
A celebration of Joseph's life journey will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Lewistown United Methodist Church, 11032 Hessong Bridge Rd., Thurmont, MD 21788.
