Judith L. Howard

Judith L. Howard, born on June 29, 1945, passed away on August 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and kindness. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Margaret Lyon.

Throughout her life, Judy embodied a strong-willed and determined spirit, qualities that shone through in every interaction she had, whether with colleagues at work or with her cherished neighbors. She approached life with gratitude and a thankful heart. Judy had a vibrant personality and was always beautiful both inside and out.

Judy dedicated an impressive 40 years of her life to Bechtel Power Corporation, where she was a valued employee who supported dozens of successful projects.

Judy is survived by her loving family, including her children, John E. Howard (Joanne), Katheryn Seal (Mark), Patricia J. Walker, and J.B. Howard (Jessie). Additionally, she cherished her grandchildren, Nicole (Rutger), Nik (Alex), Kelly, and her four great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her memory.

Her unwavering spirit and love for her family will forever resonate in the lives of those she touched with her grace and warmth. “She is clothed with strength and dignity” -Proverbs 31:25

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday Sept 6, 2025, at Stauffers Funeral Home in Frederick located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland 21702
