Judy Aurand Torboli

Judy Aurand Torboli, entered into eternal peace on August 10, 2026. Born on August 1, 1959, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Judy was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Aurand and Patricia Eyler.

A 1976 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, Judy went on to build a successful and respected career as a construction estimator for Biscayne Contractors. Upon her well-earned retirement, she channeled her endless energy into serving others. Judy’s heart for her community was evident through her devoted volunteer work at the Hope Center in Hagerstown and the American Legion Post 42. She was also a dedicated member of the Morris Frock Post 42 Ladies Auxiliary and was a faithful member of the Pinesburg Baptist Church. To know Judy was to know a woman who embraced life's simple moments. She found joy in the quiet beauty of a sunrise or sunset, lighthouses in Maine, traveling, tending to her flowers and her Koi pond. She loved horses and the beach, but nothing compared to the joy of simply being surrounded by her family and friends, sharing stories, and having fun.

Judy is now reunited with her beloved husband, Joseph Torboli, and her parents, who preceded her in death.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and generosity lives on in the hearts of her surviving family: her brothers, John Aurand of Thomasville, PA, and Alan Aurand, and his wife Penny of Biglerville, PA; her brother-in-law, Aldo Torboli, and his wife Susan; her stepdaughter, JoAnna Torboli of Corpus Christi, TX; and her cherished granddaughters, Aria Gordon of Corpus Christi, TX, and Lucy Zuspan of Hagerstown, MD. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her presence daily.

The family wishes to extend their deepest, most heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Erroll and the Pinesburg Baptist Church family, the Biscayne family, and especially Susan Torboli and Monica Brown. Your unwavering support, prayers, and love during this time have been a profound comfort and a true blessing.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on August 15, 2026. Location: 388 Camelot Blvd, Falling Waters, WV 24419
