With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our mom, Julie Ann Reilly.
Julie was born on December 8th, 1951 in Roswell, NM, and passed peacefully in her home in Frederick, MD, surrounded by her family on July 22nd, 2025.
Julie made the world feel like home. She believed people were her hobby - and she truly lived that way. Whether in line at the grocery store or from the front porch of her home, she could strike up a conversation and leave with a friend. Her warmth and gracious spirit drew people in, and her generosity left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
A devoted mother, she poured her heart into raising her girls. Being a mom was not just a role for her - it was her greatest joy. She nurtured her daughters with love, wisdom, and the fierce strength of her unwavering support.
She found beauty in the soil and peace in her garden, tending to flowers and plants with the same care she gave to people. A hard worker in every sense, she never shied away from a task and approached each day with energy, purpose, and faith.
Her belief in God was the foundation of her life. Her faith was steady, quiet, and deep - a light that guided her through challenges and inspired those around her.
Julie is survived by her husband, Patrick Reilly, daughters Jennifer Reilly and Staci Reilly, her fur grandbaby, Kobi Reilly and countless colleagues and friends who were blessed by her presence.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 10:00am at St. John’s The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Frederick, MD.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you honor Julie’s spirit by showing small acts of kindness to one another. It’s the little things that meant the most to her-and it’s the little things that keep her spirit alive.
Though we will miss her dearly, we carry her lessons and love in everything we do.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
