June Darice Utterback

June Darice Utterback , 70, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Unified Group Home in Hagerstown.  Born on July 7, 1953, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of Oswald "Buddy" Utterback and June L. (Price) Utterback.

Darice went to school in Washington County for a few years and worked at Jeanne Bussard Center in Frederick.  She enjoyed activities with Easter Seals and ARC of Washington County.  Darice lived in various group homes around Hagerstown and was a resident of Unified Group Home most recently, for nearly four years.  She loved the other residents and staff and they loved her.  She enjoyed coloring and color by number books.

She will be dearly remembered by the Ranneberger family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, where a funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation. A private interment will be at St. Mark's Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Phil Ranneberger, Brad Ranneberger, Bob Ranneberger, Cooper Ranneberger, Jeff Price and Gary Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be: Greg Ranneberger, and Ronnie Whipp.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County or to Unified Group Home.
