Justin T. Quittner, 49, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Ellicott City Healthcare Center after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 11, 1977, in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of Susan Denise Leventhal Quittner of Mt. Airy and the late Alvin Kenneth Quittner.

He was a 1995 graduate of South Carroll High School and attended Catonsville Community College. Justin began his career as an auto mechanic, he then transitioned into automotive management and later became a plumber. Justin later went back to the automotive field in the auto parts industry until he could no longer work.

He enjoyed working in his yard as well as projects in his home, was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Justin loved cars and watching NASCAR. He was known for helping all his friends and neighbors with their cars, plumbing or other items needing fixing. Justin loved animals especially his dogs Willow and Waylon. 

Surviving in addition to his mother Susan, are his brother Scott Quittner of Mt. Airy as well as two step children: Kyle and Miranda Speck.

A celebration of Justin's life will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD 21771. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Johns Hopkins Cancer Center.
