On December 16, 2022 Karen Sue Denn, 62, of Woodsboro, Maryland, passed peacefully from this life at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by devoted family. She was the beloved wife of Mark Alan Denn for 41 years.

Sue was born Jan 7, 1960 in Frederick, MD to the Raymond Rendall Garst and late Nancy Lee Garst (Rippeon). She graduated from Walkersville High School in 1978. 

She had a love for gardening, crafting, reading and anything do with her kids/grand kids. Sue enjoy looking through books to find new recipes to try, there was always something new to be made. She loved frequenting thrift and antique stores. She was a loyal, loving and devoted mom, sister, friend, and spouse. She spent many years of her life working for Citi Bank, where she met and maintained many friendships over the years. 

She is survived by her husband Mark Denn; her children Josh (Leslie) Denn, Casey (John) Carter, Alex Denn; grandchildren Gabe, Samuel, Piper, Briar, Elijah and Sloane. She is also survived by siblings Cathy Garst, Lisa Garst, Tabitha (Jim) Hale, Patrick (Tami) Garst; and father Raymond Garst, Sr.

She is preceded in death by mother Nancy Garst; Brother Raymond Garst Jr; and Grandson Mason
