Karl Hofmeister

Karl David Hofmeister, age 54, of Thurmont, Maryland, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his immediate family.

He was a 1980 Graduate of Ambridge Area High School in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.

He was the sole proprietor of Hofmeister Residential Services for 36 years offering his services as a Master Craftsman.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Ann (Dobrowolski) Hofmeister; his children, Christopher (Joellan), Kellie Duley, (Chris) and Benjamin (Theresa); his two stepsons, Andrew (Catherine) and Nickalas; his mother, Janice; and his brother, Christopher Mark of Fayetteville, NC. Additionally he is survived by four grandchildren, Peter, Evelyn, Vincent and Christin, who were the apple of his eye; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Karl was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hofmeister.

Karl will be remembered during visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Maryland, where a eulogy will be given at 7:30 p.m. by Pastor Scott.

Inurnment services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 for our Pittsburgh family and friends at the Round Hill Cemetery, 2131 Round Hill Church Road, Elizabeth Pennsylvania. A eulogy will be offered by Pastor Scott at 2:15 p.m. in the Cemetery Chapel.
