Kathy Diane Faulders

Kathy Diane Faulders, 55, of Hagerstown, passed from this life on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Doey's House in Hagerstown.

Born on October 26, 1968, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Mary Ann (Mitchell) Faulders of Hagerstown and the late Stephen C. Faulders.

She was a graduate of Smithsburg High School Class of 1986. Kathy was employed by CVS and Food Lion for numerous years. She was an animal lover, especially cats and dogs. Kathy was kind, loving and friendly to all. 

In addition to her mother, Mary Ann, Kathy will be missed by her brother, Donald Mitchell of Thurmont and her sister, Stephanie Faulders Mellott of Mercersburg, PA; two nephews, Tyler Mitchell of Hagerstown, and Christopher Flippen of Chambersburg, PA; niece, Ashton (Mitchell) Rogers of Mercersburg; and aunt, Kendra Faulders Dwyer of Hagerstown; uncle, Harold Faulders of Boonsboro; numerous cousins; and her close friend, Renee Olive. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Virginia Mitchell and David and Pauline Faulders; aunt, Delores Davy; uncle, Patrick Dwyer; and special friend, Martin (Doug) Cook.

A celebration of Kathy's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Dr. James R. Brooks will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will be held at Boonsboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Sunday at the funeral home in Boonsboro. 

Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation and to the Humane Society of Washington County.
