Katie Gray, 42, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD.

Born on May 1, 1984, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Dawn Elizabeth and Charles Keith Rau.

Katie graduated from South Carroll High School in 2002. She went on to work for Pike and Valega, DDS for 18 years where she rose through the ranks to be the office manager, as well as being a dispatcher for Mortons Towing & Recovery. Most importantly, she was the President/Queen of Twisted Rodz of Maryland car club which she founded with her husband, Robert Gray, III.

She is survived by husband, Robert Lee Gray, III; father, Charles Keith Rau; in-laws Robert Gray, Jr., Patty Gray, Nicki Gray and husband, Jr. Adamson and Casey Gray; niece and nephews, Sarah Adamson, Cody Adamson and Clifford Adamson.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard in Mt.Airy.

Memorial donations may be made to in Katie's memory to Twisted Rodz with checks payable and given to Robert L. Gray, III.
