Keith Raymond Bowser, 65, of Ijamsville, Maryland, passed from life this Sunday, May 29, 2022, at his home in Ijamsville, MD. He was the husband of the beloved Marla Bowser for 31 years.

Born June 13, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Floyd Brooks and Phyllis Irene (Harper) Bowser.

Keith enlisted in the United States Navy in 1977 and was stationed on the USS Ulysses S. Grant and was honorably discharged in 1983. Keith was employed at BAE systems for over 35 years. Keith enjoyed supporting his kids by being involved with his son’s sports and boy scout’s adventures and by being an active participant in his daughter’s gymnastics career and travels. Keith enjoyed outdoor activities such as volleyball, softball, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking and traveling. Keith’s enthusiasm and outgoing personality made him beloved by all. His tireless love and devotion to his family were evident through his entire life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Kevin, his daughter Sarah, and his two brothers Phil and Chandler Bowser.

To honor Keith’s wishes family members will be scattering his ashes at sea and in the mountains of Montana in a private ceremony.  A Celebration of Keith’s life journey will take place at a later date.
