Mr. Kenneth P. Hughes, 80, of Frederick, Died on Thursday December 16, 2010 at FrederickMemorialHospital. He was the loving husband of Peggy S. Hughes.
Born on October 12, 1930 in Watertown, NY. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Grace Parody Hughes.
He was a 1953 graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. He went on to serve in the U. S. Navy from 1953 until his retirement as a Captain in 1983.
Also survived by a daughter Sarah Hughes Bazen and husband Craig of Gaithersburg. Granddaughter Jamie Bazen also of Gaithersburg. One sister Judy Rich of St. Paul, Minn.
Funeral Services and interment will be private at CrownsvilleVeteransCemetery, Crownsville.
