Kenneth E. Long

Kenneth E Long of Woodbine, MD passed from this life on July 2, 2025, at Inspirations, Westminster, MD. Born on May 21, 1944 in Mineral Point, PA, the son of the late Clinton and Mary (Baker) Long. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (Kowalczyk) Long.

He is survived by his sister Vivian Myers; brothers-in-law Raymond, Robert, and Richard Kowalczyk; sister-in-law Ruth Ann (Kowalczyk) (Ronald) Long; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth graduated in 1962 from Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg, PA and earned a degree in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University. He retired from Northrop Grumman as an Engineering Group Manager.

Ken was a volunteer at the food pantry at St Michael’s Church at Poplar Springs and also volunteered at the Carroll County Senior Center in Mt Airy, MD.

The family will receive friends on Friday July 11, 2025 from 12PM until the time of the service at 1PM at St Michael’s at Poplar Springs, Mt Airy, MD.
