Kevin Miles Collins of Hagerstown, Maryland, a devoted husband, father, and lifelong Ford enthusiast, passed from this life May 10, 2025. He leaves behind his wife, Teri (Dunmeyer) Collins, who was his steady companion through life’s journey.
Kevin was born on August 31, 1955, to the late John and Jean (Johnson) Collins. He is survived by his children: Niki Reedy (Chad), Bobby Collins, and Kevin Collins (Tasha). A beloved grandfather and great-grandfather, Kevin is also cherished by his sister, Carolyn Marsol, and his brother, Rusty Collins (Marjorie). Many nieces and nephews will remember him by his quiet strength and warm sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his close friends, Bill Wilkinson and Eddie Crider.
Kevin worked for many years as a printer, known for his precision and commitment to quality. Beyond his work, he had a true love for animals-his faithful pups Squeak and Sadie were never far from his side, along with Tabby and Smokey, the cats, and even Ted the donkey, who brought unexpected joy to his days.
But perhaps Kevin’s greatest passion was cars-especially Fords. Whether restoring them, cruising in them, or simply talking shop, he found endless joy in the hum of a well-tuned engine and the curve of a classic body. His knowledge was vast, his enthusiasm contagious.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on his 70th birthday, Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. To honor his memory, family and friends are invited to rev their engines and take a ride down Old National Pike-one last cruise for Kevin. Let the roar of the engines be a tribute to a man who lived life in drive, with heart, humor, and horsepower.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
