Krystle Dawn Russell

Krystle Dawn Russell, 31, of Knoxville, Maryland, went home to the Lord and her family on May 6, 2023, our little warrior never gave up after a long battle with cancer. 

Born on September 20, 1991, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of  Brenda Russell and the late Ronald Showe.

Krystle was a 2009 graduate of Tuscarora High School.  She was a member of Emmanuel Trinity Lutheran Church.  Krystle loved doing crafts and drawing.  She was also a big animal lover.

In addition to her Mother, Brenda she leaves behind her Aunt Nancy Paugh (Scott), her uncles Larry, Donald and Jimmy Russell; paternal aunts Rose Rhodes and Joyce Roberson.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary and John Russell, and her paternal grandmother, Frances Showe. 

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Brunswick), 1100 North Maple Avenue in Brunswick, MD and 10-11am on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Emmanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, 4004 Ballenger Creek Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Krystle's life journey will take place at 11am.  Interment will be at Manor Reformed Cemetery in  Adamstown, MD.

Pall Bearers will be Michael and David Daugherty, Jim and Wayne Miller, Steven and Michael Paugh and honorary pall bearers, John Stone and Eddie Johnson.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff on 2C at Frederick Health Hospital for their support and care for her.
