Kurt Kenneth Trabold, of Frederick, Maryland, returned home to God on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at his home; surrounded by his loving children. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda Ann Trabold for 38 years.
Born on December 14, 1961, in Johnstown, PA he was the son of the late Richard and Vera (Weakland) Trabold. He is survived by his children, Angela Trabold, Karl Trabold, Mary Grace Trabold, Kurstin Dava; Grandchildren, Kenneth Trabold, Julian Oseneek, Levi Oseneek, Tahlia Snipes, Rylea Dava, Anaiya Snipes, Kaydin Trabold, Kamdyn Dava; Siblings, Cynthia Webb, Eric Trabold and wife Joanne, Diane Crownover, Charmaine Moan, Todd Trabold, and wife Sharon. Kurt joined the Navy directly after graduating high school, although he only served for 4 years; he was a very proud American and had much respect for all Armed Forces members. After meeting Linda in Rockville, MD and getting married, they moved to Frederick, MD to settle down with their four children. Being very devoted to their religion, they became parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where he later would volunteer for community events and help during mass; taking over for his wife once she passed in 2023. A few years later in their new forever home, Kurt gained employment at TNT Services Group; a local window and door company owned by a close friend and neighbor. Kurt took pride in his job and loved teaching others the trade. He loved that they became like an extended family for over 20 years; Kurt retired from TNT in 2022. Kurt also loved his grandchildren dearly and was very proud to see them grow and learn. He enjoyed attending many sports events to cheer them on. Lastly, besides faith and family, the most important part of Kurt’s life and biggest enjoyment was being a devoted Pittsburg Steelers Fan his entire life! He loved the Pirates and Penguins as well; but Football was his all-time favorite!
