Lal Peiris
October 10, 1943 — April 18, 2016
Lal Peiris, Former Secretary Judicial Services Commission (Ceylon Law College, 1970; admitted to the Bar in 1971) and an old boy Royal College, Colombo (Group of ’55) passed away after a brief illness in Maryland, USA.
He is survived by his wife Kamala, daughter Rashika and Pavithri, son-in-laws Naveen Weerasena and Spencer Kilgore and step granddaughters Megan and Madeleine Kilgore.
Viewing will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday April 21, 2016. Viewing and funeral service will be held from 9-10am on Saturday April 23, 2016 immediately followed by cremation at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.
All are invited for a memorial reception at 21338 Village Green Circle, Germantown, MD 20876.
