Larry Thomas Ludwig

Larry Thomas Ludwig, 72, of Middletown, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at his home in Middletown, MD. He was the beloved husband of Monica Ludwig for 46 years.

Born on January 1, 1951, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Paul Franklin Ludwig Jr. and Nola Mae Cagle Ludwig.

He had his own house painting business, played chess, enjoyed tennis, and loved all his dogs throughout the years. He would share Jesus with everyone.

Larry is survived by his children Thomas Baboyian (wife Jennifer Baboyian), Melanie Vargas (husband Sam Vargas), and Joshua Ludwig (wife Linda Ludwig). He is survived by his grandchildren Grant, Grace, Charlotte, Christian, Daniela, Evan, and Liam.  Larry is survived by 8 siblings - Paula, Billy, Cathy, Nola, Sherri, Ann, Tina, and Donna. He is survived by his dog, Buddy.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Grace Community Church, 5102 Old National Pike in Frederick, MD 21702 where a celebration of Larry’s life journey will take place at 1pm. Pastor Jonathan Keeler will officiate. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Church - 107 W. Main St. Middletown, MD 21769.
