Leva Lorraine "Chick" Frye, 84, of Knoxville died Friday, October 5, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of Junior Frye. They were married 46 years.
Born February 10, 1934 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John and Abby (Longerbeam) Darr.
She worked in the cafeteria at Brunswick Elementary school for nearly 30 years prior to retirement.
Chick was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Brunswick and faithfully attended church until her stroke three years ago prevented her from doing so. She was an avid collector of Angels.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Robert "Doodle" Lynn and wife, Marsha, of Kearneysville, WV; daughter, Roxanne Lynn-Eury and husband, Ronnie, of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Moe, Dena, Heather, Heidi, RJ, and Keithy; several great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and longtime friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, and son, Keith Charles Frye.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11 from the funeral home with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will follow in Knoxville Reformed Cemetery.
