Lieba Flook Smith

Lieba Smith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away on April 20, 2024. She was born on November 3, 1961, in Frederick, Maryland and lived a life filled with love and adventure.

One of Lieba's greatest joys was being surrounded by nature; she found solace in the mountains, where she felt most at peace. Lieba cherished every moment she spent in the great outdoors. Another passion that brought immense joy to Lieba's life was riding her motorcycle. The freedom of the open road allowed her to embrace adventure and experience exhilaration like no other. It was during these times that Lieba felt truly alive-the wind rushing past her as she navigated the winding roads.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jeff Smith; her son Jeff Smith Jr.; granddaughter Trinity Smith; mother Loretta Jecelin; and brother Vince Flook. She was preceded in death by her brother Vernon Flook III. Their hearts ache with profound loss as they remember Lieba's unwavering love and strength that bound their family together.

In honoring Lieba's memory, funeral services will be held privately for immediate family members only.

The world has lost an extraordinary soul whose presence illuminated the lives of all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy with grief at this sudden departure from our midst, we find comfort knowing Lieba now rides free under endless skies forevermore- her spirit will be eternally in our hearts.
