Lillie {Jane} Ray

Lillie Jane Ray, 88, of Frederick, Maryland of passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Beverly Health Care. She was the wife of the late George F. Ray, Sr.

Born March 4, 1918 in Frederick, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva May Crum.

Jane was a member of Grace Trinity United Church of Christ. She sang in the church choir and was in the Woman's Fellowship.

She enjoyed BINGO, bowling, baking and cooking. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and her great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna J. Dorsey and husband Ronnie of Frederick, a brother, Clarence Crum and wife Evelyn of Monrovia, MD, six grandchildren, Robert Ray, Christi Kinnelly and husband Marc, Nicki Dorsey, Brandy Dorsey and Ernie and Lisa Payne, seven great grandchildren, Taylor Kayleigh, Austin, Connor, Jasmine, Colin and Brianna, two sister-in-laws, Violet Neal and Sally Ramsburg and one brother-in-law, Frank Murphy and wife Delores and a very special niece and nephew, Billy Crum and Bettie Jane Schildt.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a son, George F. Sonny Ray, Jr., two brothers, Joseph and William Crum and a sister, Fannie Crum Loun.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, March 4th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Elsabeth S. Hilke officiating.

Interment will be in Kemptown Cemetery.
