Linda Darlene Keyser

Linda Darlene Keyser, 72, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home in Frederick, MD.

Born on May 19, 1950, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward Woodward and Louise Jewel Woodward.

She graduated from Thomas Johnson High in 1967.

Linda worked many years as a cashier and helped run her daughter and son-in-law’s coffee shop until she retired to help care for her grandchildren. She truly enjoyed being a grandmother and being such a big part of their lives. Most recently, she was a homemaker and devoted wife to her husband of 56 years. She and Larry met as young teens and have been together ever since and were still the best of friends, rarely doing things without one another. She loved family gatherings and vacations, baking, her cat Smoke, her daily phone calls from her niece, Cathy Droneburg, and watching soap operas with her sister-in-law, Debbie Wages. She and Debbie also loved to splurge on getting their nails done and going out to lunch. In the warmer months, she and Larry spent their weekends at their place in Riverbend, boating, golf carting, and spending time with their many friends whom she loved dearly.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She was a kind and loving person who had a great sense of humor and always looked forward to fun times.

She is survived by her husband Larry Keyser, daughter; Christie Rice and husband Ryan; son, Larry (Bubby) Keyser and her 3 beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Austin, and Emily as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Linda's life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the funeral home. Pastor Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
