Linda Ann Purdum

Linda Ann Purdum, 81, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. She was the loving wife of Allan R. Purdum. They were married nearly 60 years.

Born on June 20, 1945, in New York, she was the daughter of the late Dwight C. Monnier, Sr. and Lorraine (MacArthur) Monnier.

She was a graduate of Damascus High School.

Linda was a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Kemptown. Additionally, she enjoyed bingo and crocheting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bill Purdum of Florida; brother, Dwight Monnier, Jr. and wife, Shirley, of Hagerstown; two nieces, Tiffany Monnier and Tonya Taylor Rubinstein; one great-nephew; three great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.

Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20 at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3716 Kemptown Church Rd., Monrovia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church.
