Linda M. Simpson

Linda M. Simpson, of Middletown, MD, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 27, after a short fight with cancer.

Born March 20, 1948, Linda will be remembered for the love of her family and friends, compassion, creativity and her sense of humor.

Though she will be missed by all of those who knew her, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, John C. Simpson Sr. and her children, John Simpson Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Germantown, MD and Jenni Poole of Middletown, MD. The true loves of Linda's life were her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by all of her extended family.

Friends will be received at The Grace Community Church, 5102 Old National Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10am until 11am when the celebration of her life will begin. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
