Lois R. Conner

Mrs. Lois R. Conner, 61, of Mt Airy, died on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Emory L. Conner, her husband of 32 years.
Born on February 4, 1945 in Morgantown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harold Hamrick and Mary Snodgrass Hamrick of Uniontown, PA. Lois was a nursing assistant for Frederick Memorial Hospital, working at the Mt. Airy office. She truly loved her work, helping other people, and enjoyed going to Charles Town Races.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Lisa Tamburo and husband Vince of Westminster; a grandson, Josh Tamburo also of Westminster; 2 sisters: Linda Seghi and husband Fred of Uniontown, PA and Sara Hansen and husband Jerry of Germantown.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Thursday, December 21, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. in Mt. Airy.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 22, with Rev. Wallace Lusk officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt.
