Lorene Hall

Mrs. Lorene Mae Hall, 87, of Frederick, MD, formerly of Oxon Hill , MD passed away on Friday July 30.

Loving mother of Loretta Sienkiewicz and husband Michael of Frederick, MD, Gregory Hall and wife Gayle of Awendaw, SC., Carolyn Hall of Belleview, FL, and Diane Mitchell and husband Jim of Manassas, VA.  Grandmother of Jeremy Hall and wife Holly, Justin Hall, Eric Sienkiewicz, Adam Sienkiewicz, Corrie Mitchell and Jake Mitchell.  Great grandmother of Eva and Matty Hall.

Born in Taylor , WI , on Sept. 7, 1922 , she grew up in Everett , WA .  After moving to Washington , DC , she met and married Leon C. Hall, her loving husband of 41 years, raising her family in Oxon Hill , MD. Lorene was a devoted, active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Temple Hills , MD. She was a past Girl Scout leader and volunteer at the National Lutheran Home. In 1999, she moved to Belleview , FL and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church .  She recently moved to Frederick , MD , where she was attending Zion Lutheran Church .

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the McDougald Funeral Home, 2211 N. Main Street , Anderson , SC. 29621.  Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery , Anderson , SC where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Leon.
