Lori Lea Love

Lori Lea Love, 64, of Frederick, Maryland, died on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the home she's lived in for the last 30 years. She spent her very last moments surrounded by her three children, her close friends, and her cats.

Born on May 9, 1962, in Newport, TN, she was the daughter of William Burton Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Parrot) Henry.

Lori is survived by her brother, William Burton Henry, Jr., her mother, Mary Elizabeth Henry, and her three children, Audrey McAndrew Love, Bradford Ankarcrona Love, and William Robert Love.

A talented writer and public speaker, Lori graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Communications

She spent years working in her grandmother’s jewelry shop as a child, was active in school-cheerleader, student government roles, writing for publications, transitioned into property management after graduating. She was a longtime Mary Kay consultant and a devoted mother, but she found her true passion in 2003 when she started practicing yoga and Pilates. She has since received numerous accreditations in the field and taught at many studios in Frederick, MD, including Ananda Shala and the YMCA. She spent her final years primarily instructing in her in-home studio.

When she wasn’t instructing or spending time with her many adoring friends, Lori enjoyed discussing astrology, reading tarot cards, trying new healthy recipes, snuggling with her beloved cats, and reading a good book.

Lori’s friends will remember her as vivacious and warm, possessing a radiant presence that lit up every room and an ability to listen and inspire in a way that made her friends feel truly treasured. Her students will remember her ability to maintain a practice equally founded upon motivation and gentleness, and they revere her for creating a space not just for movement, but also for connection and friendship.

Her children will remember her as the kind of mom who made everyone in her home feel welcome and accepted. They will cherish the memory of her unbridled encouragement, sincerity, and joy, from hilarious road trips and holiday traditions to wicked witch impressions and family movie nights.

Lori’s Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st, 11AM - 3PM at Morningside Inn. (Feel free to wear periwinkle in her memory!)
