Lorraine “Raine” Shipley McBride

Born October 7, 1933, in Damascus, MD and passed away peacefully from natural causes on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, while in Hospice care at Homewood Living of Frederick, MD.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa L. Mitchell and husband, Roger E. Mitchell, of Round Hill, VA; her son, Michael P. McBride and wife, Joy McBride, of Lexington Park, MD; also granddaughters, Shannon K. Mitchell and husband, Jesse Rodriguez, of Tuson, AZ, and Rylee B. McBride of Lexington Park, MD.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in the future.
