Louis E. Follin, Sr.

Louis Eugene Follin, Sr., 88, of Thurmont, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at his son’s residence.

Born on May 12, 1937, in Potomac, MD, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine Irene (Sine) Follin. Brother of Helen Davis, Tommy Follin, Jimmy Follin, Robert Follin, Janice Bunn, and Joan Follin.

Louis was a cabinet maker, fisherman and dedicated hunter. He enjoyed laying outside in his hammock with his most loyal companion, Hazel.

Surviving Louis are children Kevin Follin and wife Lisa Follin , Louis Follin, Jr. and wife Mary Follin, and Tina Sturm; grandchildren Danny Follin, Ryan Follin, Victoria Burke husband Tyler Burke and great-grandson Mason Burke

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main St., Thurmont, MD 21788.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
