Louise Lamonica

April 26, 1933 — June 27, 2021

Louise Marie Lamonica, 88, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Kline Hospice in Mount Airy, MD. She was the loving wife of the late Salvatore Lamonica, who predeceased her in 1987.

Born on April 26, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of  the late William  Fuller and Julia (Steele) Fuller.

As a young woman, she worked for an insurance company in New York City. Once her children were born, she became a stay at home mom for several years. Later she worked Amprobe Instruments in Lynbrook, NY. After her retirement, she moved to Crestwood Village in Frederick to be closer to her daughter.

She made friends easily and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Louise enjoyed her cats, fashion, story telling, and talking on the phone with her friends. We will miss her.

The family would like to offer thanks and appreciation to the staff of Frederick Health Hospice and Citizens Care and Rehab for the loving care given to her over the last few months.

She is survived by daughter, Joanne Weiland, and husband, John, of Frederick; and son, Paul Lamonica, and wife, Maria, of Texas; three grandchildren, Sam, Jacob, and Paul Michael; two great-grandchildren, Maddie and Zoey; a sister, Jeannie Proto, of Texas; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are with Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, and Stauffer Crematory, Inc. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com.
