Mrs. Madalene Riley, 84, of Frederick, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Northampton Manor Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late John A. Riley, who predeceased her in 2007.
Born January 23, 1933 in Buckeystown, she was the daughter of the late Charles Soper and Mamie (Stewart) Soper.
She was a homemaker and a loving mother.
She is survived by her son, Gregory; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Gerald Kevin Riley; sisters, Marie Bish, Louise Hartsock, and Avalon Snook; and brothers, Leroy Soper, and Aubrey "George" Soper.
Funeral services will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Stauffer Funeral Home, Frederick, and Stauffer Crematory, Inc.
