M. Annadean (Mitchell) Criswell, 85, a resident of Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland and formerly of Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, December 12, 2012.
Born on August 13, 1927, in Washington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Etta (Scott) Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Criswell in May of 2000.
Annadean was a graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Shankle and her husband, Jim of Middletown, Maryland; two sons, James "Jim" Criswell of Cavetown, Maryland and Ronald Criswell and his wife, Diane of Hagerstown, Maryland; two grandchildren, Jason Shankle and Jennifer Ross and her husband, Jerry; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Mmiranda Shankle. She is also survived by two sisters.
In addition to her parents and husband, Annadean was preceded in death by her daughter, Mabel Etta Criswell; one brother; and one sister.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
