In loving memory of a beloved wife and mother Margaret “Sue” Rabicki, 61, who passed away unexpectedly from this life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at her home in Mt. Airy, MD.
Born on February 14, 1964, in Minneapolis, MN, she was the daughter of the late Robert Potter and Molly Potter (Ross).
Sue was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed taking trips and spending time with her family. She loved the beach, camping, visiting the gun range, and fishing. She was beautiful inside and out and her smile could light up any room. She will forever be remembered in the lives of her husband, children and grandchildren that love her so very much.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Rabicki Jr., married more than 35 years, children; Christina Thomason and husband Earl Dwayne Thomason, Christopher Barger, and Ashley Hoffman. Her grandchildren; Jase, Kai and Logan Thomason, Clayton, and Drake Hoffman, Courtney Crawford, and Gabriel Barger. She is also survived by her brother Kevin Potter, sister Bette Madore and nephews Cody & Reno Madore.
Sue obtained her bachelor’s degree at Ashford University with a Major in Accounting. She was very proud of this accomplishment due to fact that she completed it later in life while maintaining full-time employment.
Sue’s last place of employment was with FB Harding (an electrical contractor) in Frederick, MD, where she was part of the accounting team. Unfortunately, due to multiple back surgeries, she was no longer able to work after January 2025.
Sue loved to cook, with some of her favorite meals being chicken and dumplings, ham hocks and beans, Atkins Veal Stew, and homemade pizza. She could cook anything. She loved seafood, Japanese Steak Houses, Hallmark movies and was an avid and beautiful dancer.
Sue is preceded in death by her father Robert Potter and Mother Molly Potter (Ross).
A celebration of Sue's life will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
