Margaret Condon Warfield

Margaret Condon Warfield, 95, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her residence.She was the wife of the late Thomas Owings Warfield, IV who died in 2023 after 74 years of marriage.

Born on January 29, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Clarence Edward Condon and Roseanne Fowler-Baker Condon.

She was a graduate of Lisbon High School. Margaret held many positions throughout her life including secretary for the Frederick Moose Lodge, floral designer and EKG Technician. Margaret was a member of the Frederick Moose Lodge, the Mt. Airy Garden Club, The Sweet Adelines and was a 4-H leader. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, ceramics and loved baking goodies for her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, David Clark Warfield, Michael Barnes Warfield and his wife, Jacquelyn; daughter, Sharon Anne Stratton; grandchildren, Lara Christine Monroe and husband, Alistair; Ashley Lee Warfield Jr., Alisha Lynn Warfield; great-grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Monroe and Corrine Margaret Monroe, daughter-in law Elizabeth Warfield. Margaret also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish their memories with her.

To honor Margaret C. Warfield, visitation services will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mount Airy, MD 21771 on August 18, 2025 from 10-11 AM where the funeral service will begin 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
